Proposals, prices and payment
Scope, deliverables, timeline and cost are set out in a written proposal or agreement for each project; the descriptions on this website do not replace it. The payment method and schedule are set out there too. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
Hosting and maintenance
The build price does not include hosting or technical maintenance, unless a promotion provides for them. These are provided through the iCare plans, as described on the “Hosting & support” page, or as the written agreement sets out.
Preview before an agreement
No free preview or trial build is provided before an agreement, unless a specific agreement or a promotion provides for one.
Promotions
A promotion, such as free hosting or support for a set period or a preview before an agreement, applies under the terms, duration and conditions it states; these terms apply to everything else.
We let you know before a free period ends. Hosting or support then continues at the current iCare price only if you choose it; nothing renews automatically without your agreement.
Ready-made themes, licences and rights
To build your website we may use ready-made design themes (templates), our own or third-party, adapted to your business’s identity, as well as third-party plugins, fonts and photos. The base design of a ready-made theme is not exclusive. Third-party elements are used under their own licences, which also apply to you; if a licence has a cost or a renewal, or must be issued in your name, we tell you before we use it.
The written agreement sets out the rights in the material we create specifically for you, in whose name each paid licence is issued and what applies when our cooperation ends. After it ends, you may keep using the website we delivered, within the agreement and those licences; updates to a third-party element may require a licence of your own.
Third-party elements belong to their owners, and the tools and code we use across projects remain ours. Texts, photos and logos you give us remain yours, and you must have the right for us to use them in the project.
Images and projects
Project images are used to present the portfolio. The respective trademarks and project content belong to their owners.
